TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Overview

The Start Smart Scholarship Giveaway is designed to support one entrepreneur ready to scale their business using a proven framework.
This is not a random draw. It’s a merit-based selection process for serious entrepreneurs who demonstrate commitment, readiness, and fit for the Start Smart Program.

By entering the Start Smart Scholarship Program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions In Full

2. Eligibility

To qualify, you must:

• Be aged 35 or older.
• Currently own and operate a business (minimum 6 months in operation).
• Be generating at least some revenue (ideally above $50k per year or equivalent local currency / a minimum of $20k per year).
• Be committed to scaling your business to your first or next $200k.
• Be willing and able to invest time, effort, and focus to complete the 12-week Start Smart Program.
• Be fluent in English and comfortable learning using a hybrid model (online and 1:Many Coaching sessions).
• Applicants under 35 or without an active business may be disqualified or redirected to a more suitable program.

 

3. Entry Requirements

To be considered, you must complete all of the following steps:

• Like and comment (“I’m ready to scale in 2026”). on the official Scholarship Giveaway post 
• Share the Scholarship post on your social media profile or story (tag @TheOptimisationTeam).
• Complete the full application form with accurate and detailed answers.
• Confirm you can commit to 2–3 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Incomplete entries will not be reviewed.

 

4. Selection Process

• The giveaway is not random.
• Entries will be reviewed by the TOT team to assess fit, commitment, and readiness.
• Shortlisted candidates may be invited to a brief discovery chat (10–15 minutes).
• The winner will be selected based on alignment with the program, mindset, and potential for transformation.
• The decision of The Optimisation Team is final.

 

5. Winner Announcement

• The winner will be announced on [DATE] inside the Skool community and via email.
• TOT reserves the right to award partial scholarships or runner-up discounts to strong applicants.
• The scholarship cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.

 

6. Winner Commitments

By accepting the Scholarship, the winner agrees to the following conditions:

a. Program Participation

• Attend all 12 weeks of the Start Smart Program, including weekly lessons, at least 1 Q&A live coaching calls, and keep up to speed with your accountability coach by email weekly.
• Notify the TOT team if unable to attend a session (max two absences).
• Complete all required lessons on the platform building your SMART Strategy to enable you to go to market when you complete the program.

b. Case Study & Testimonials

• Provide three (3) testimonials during the program:
  • Week 4: early results
  • Week 8: progress update
  • Week 12: final outcome
• Record a short video testimonial within 7 days of program completion.
• Participate in a brief recorded debrief interview (15 minutes) for future marketing.

c. Marketing Permission

• Grant TOT permission to use your name, business name, logo, testimonial quotes, and video/audio clips in marketing materials, social media, and case studies.
• Approve edited versions for clarity or length (without altering meaning).

d. Social Visibility

• Post one public update per month about your progress on LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook.
• Tag @TheOptimisationTeam and use the campaign hashtag (#StartSmartScholarship or equivalent).

e. Community Engagement

• Participate actively in the Skool Optimisation Team community through a minimum of 1 weekly comment, with feedback, and support of other members.

f. Data Sharing (Private)

• Share basic growth data with TOT at the start and end of the program (e.g., revenue range, conversion rate, clarity metrics) to measure impact.

g. Code of Conduct

• Respect the confidentiality of all program materials and fellow participants.
• Do not duplicate, distribute, or teach TOT frameworks or templates without written permission.

 

7. Withdrawal or Termination

If the winner:

• Fails to attend sessions or design the required materials for their business,
• Acts disrespectfully in the community,
• Breaches confidentiality, or
• Fails to uphold their commitments,
• The scholarship may be revoked and reassigned to another applicant.
• No cash equivalent will be offered.

 

8. Value of Scholarship

• The total value of the scholarship is $3,597 USD (the retail price of the Start Smart Program including VAT).
• The scholarship covers full access to the 12-week program and associated resources.
• Any travel, internet, or equipment costs remain the winner’s responsibility.

 

9. Data Privacy

By applying, you consent to The Optimisation Team collecting and storing your details for the purpose of:

• Application review and selection
• Program participation
• Future communications and offers related to scaling your business

Your data will never be sold or shared externally.

 

10. Liability Disclaimer

• Participation in the program does not guarantee specific financial results.
• The Optimisation Team provides education, tools, and mentorship, your effort, participation and implementation determines your outcome.
• By applying, you acknowledge full responsibility for your own business decisions and results.

 

11. Ambassador Opportunity

• Upon completing the program, the winner will be invited to become a Start Smart Ambassador with access to referral or affiliate opportunities for future launches.

 

12. Agreement

By submitting your application, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• Meet all eligibility requirements.
• Agree to abide by all rules if selected.
